Global Manufacturing Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technology projects for the development of new PCB and ECU packaging, component packaging, and PCB assembly materials and technologies.
• Develop relevant documentation, including qualification requirements, application standards, and design rules implemented globally across Global Electronics.
• Implement the Manufacturing Technology roadmap in alignment with core and customer application development programs.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to product teams and solve industrialization problems related to PCB, ECU, and component packaging.
• Coordinate qualification testing of new technologies prior to their first use in applications.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in the industrialization of automotive electronics, including design, component technology, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication, supply chain, and assembly processes.
• Experience in areas such as PCB design/fabrication, Solder Paste Chemistries, Conformal Coat, Underfill, Adhesives, or Chip on Board Assembly.
• Experience utilizing AI for process or design efficiency.
• Proven project management capabilities and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interact confidently across various technical and management levels.
