Global Macro Associate

Responsibilities

• Conduct foundational research on global political and macroeconomic developments across various regions and themes.
• Draft first versions of research notes, briefing memos, and client call preparation materials.
• Build and maintain internal trackers to monitor key developments and team outputs.
• Contribute to and manage the production of the team’s Global Macro slide deck, including updating charts and tables.
• Support analytical oversight initiatives to improve the quality and consistency of team analysis.
• Draft and review conference call notes, ensuring clear capture of key takeaways and follow-ups.
• Provide operational support to the team’s training program, including materials organization and scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MA/MSc preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in political or policy research, analysis, consulting, finance, policy, or journalism.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly.
• Strong familiarity with global politics.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in economic and market concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to translate global trends into investor-relevant implications.
• Familiarity with data analysis or data visualization tools.
