Global Legal Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor for global direct-to-consumer digital and mobile platforms including Topps.com, Fanatics Collect, and Fanatics Live
• Partner with product, engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams from concept through launch
• Provide pragmatic guidance on product features, user experiences, and go-to-market initiatives
• Advise on consumer protection, e-commerce law, digital payments, subscription models, and IP use
• Draft and negotiate technology agreements, platform partnerships, SaaS, and licensing contracts
• Develop global consumer-facing terms, policies, and promotional rules
• Support privacy-by-design processes and advise on global data governance and cross-border data flows
• Monitor global regulatory developments affecting digital commerce and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state
• 10+ years of legal experience
• 3+ years advising on global DTC technology, product, digital media, or e-commerce
• Strong experience with consumer protection, e-commerce law, and data privacy
• Proven experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams
• Ability to travel frequently on short notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting marketplace or high-traffic consumer platforms
• Familiarity with IP/content licensing and payment regulation
• Knowledge of global privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CPRA
