Global Investment Banking - Private Capital Markets, Associate

Responsibilities

• Work directly with issuer clients to develop a deep understanding of business models, financial metrics, and projected performance.
• Analyze suitable investor universes for transactions and engage in investor outreach and execution.
• Support the preparation of transaction marketing and process materials.
• Coordinate the deal process from launch to signing, managing communication between clients, advisers, and internal/external parties.
• Manage multiple transactions in parallel, demonstrating initiative and ownership across the capital structure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time investment banking or buy-side experience.
• Proficiency in corporate finance and technical ability to work across various capital structures.
• Fluency in Mandarin to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior professionals and clients.
• Strong interest in private capital markets, minority equity, and structured transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in private capital raising (equity, equity-linked, debt, or leveraged finance).
• Experience in M&A execution or buy-side roles.
• Proven experience communicating directly with buy-side investors.
