Global Investment Banking - Analyst/Associate Korea

Responsibilities

• Provide valuation analysis, including discounted cash flows, relative valuations, asset valuations, comparable comps, and transaction multiples
• Prepare pitchbooks for client meetings covering M&A, ECM, and DCM
• Develop financial models and perform detailed financial analysis of companies
• Monitor industry trends, current events, and relevant financial information
• Support project coordination, including client communication and internal/external advisory team coordination
• Travel for client meetings, due diligence, and industry research

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier educational institution
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in investment banking
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills
• Fluency in both English and Korean (verbal and written)
• Ability to manage projects independently and handle high levels of responsibility
• Strong understanding of the transaction cycle and execution processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior investment banking experience specifically in M&A or an industry group
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including expert Excel modeling
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (CPA designation is a plus)
