Global HSE Director

Responsibilities

• Own the global health, safety, and environmental system for field operations
• Establish safety standards and drive compliance across all service lines and regions
• Investigate incidents and lead prevention-oriented safety initiatives
• Work directly with Field Service Managers, Crew Managers, and technicians to embed safety practices
• Use data and metrics to prioritize interventions and track safety performance

Requirements

• Proven experience building safety cultures in high-risk or industrial environments
• Ability to establish standards and lead incident investigations across multiple regions
• Field credibility with a willingness to engage directly with crews on-site
• Strong systems thinking and data-driven decision-making skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners and field teams without direct authority
• Clear communication skills to translate technical requirements into practical guidance

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to travel internationally (30-40%)
• Cross-cultural competence for collaborating with teams in the EU and US
• Resilience to engage in constructive confrontation regarding safety standards
• Ability to integrate safety seamlessly into operational workflows
