Global Head of Procurement

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global procurement strategy across Direct and Indirect categories to align with business priorities and financial goals.
• Manage procurement governance and spend performance for an annual spend of approximately CHF 750 million.
• Drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations to optimize value and innovation.
• Professionalize Indirect Procurement by standardizing sourcing approaches across functions like IT, HR, and Finance.
• Strengthen supply resilience and sustainability by mitigating geopolitical risks and embedding ESG criteria into sourcing processes.
• Lead procurement transformation through digitalization, data visibility improvements, and capability building.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership of global teams.
• Proven track record managing large, complex spend portfolios (ideally CHF/€500m+).
• Experience operating within multinational, matrix-driven organizations, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen regarding cost optimization and category management.
• Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages like German, French, or Mandarin are a plus.
