Global Head of Procurement

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global procurement strategy across Direct and Indirect categories to align with business priorities and financial goals.
• Own procurement governance and spend performance for an annual spend of approximately CHF 750 million.
• Drive strategic sourcing and supplier management through category strategies, contract negotiations, and risk monitoring.
• Elevate Indirect Procurement excellence by standardizing sourcing approaches and partnering with functions like IT, HR, and Finance.
• Strengthen supply resilience and sustainability by mitigating geopolitical risks and embedding ESG criteria into sourcing processes.
• Lead procurement transformation by advancing digitalization, improving data visibility, and building a high-performing international team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain, including leadership of global teams.
• Proven track record managing large, complex spend portfolios (ideally CHF/€500m+).
• Experience operating in multinational, matrix-driven organizations, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen regarding cost optimization, category management, and contract structuring.
• Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages such as German, French, or Mandarin are a plus.
