Global Head of Logistics

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global logistics and distribution strategy to align with business growth and establish global standards for transportation, warehousing, and customs.
• Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across inbound, intercompany, outbound, and service flows to ensure high service levels and operational reliability.
• Manage the global logistics budget and drive cost optimization through strategic freight procurement and 3PL partner management.
• Optimize the global distribution network by redesigning transportation lanes and warehouse structures while leading large-scale transformation and automation initiatives.
• Drive digitalization and resilience by improving WMS, TMS, and analytics capabilities and mitigating geopolitical or regulatory risks.
• Advance sustainability goals by reducing the environmental footprint of logistics operations and supporting ESG reporting.

Requirements

• Extensive international leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
• Proven track record in a global industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally within large-scale organizations.
• Deep expertise in transportation, warehousing, international trade, and customs compliance.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation programs and managing complex, multi-region networks.
• High level of digital literacy with experience implementing WMS, TMS, and advanced analytics tools.
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German, French, or Mandarin is a plus.
