Global Hardlines Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the trading card game (TCG) and trading card product categories and licensees
• Partner with the Director of Global Hardlines to define category strategy through market share analysis and data analytics
• Manage assigned licensees, including contract negotiation, business planning, and marketing alignment
• Drive financial success and market share growth by collaborating with regional teams and incorporating market feedback
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and the competitive landscape to identify business opportunities
• Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned categories, including annual budget planning and quarterly revenue forecasting
• Collaborate with product development and cross-functional teams to build licensee line plans, ensuring optimal SKU counts and price points
• Partner with Marketing to build and implement product launch plans with key partners

Requirements

• 4-7+ years of direct experience in the toy or TCG/trading card industry, preferably in Hardlines licensing roles
• Strong understanding of brand positioning, retail business development, and retail distribution environments
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
