Global Geochemistry Business Development Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive global geochemistry growth through geographic expansion, service innovation, and pricing optimization
• Identify emerging market trends and commercial opportunities
• Lead Global Key Account Management for strategic clients
• Lead development, negotiation, and review of major proposals, contracts, and RFPs
• Strengthen regional commercial capabilities through training and best-practice sharing
• Lead global marketing initiatives and represent SGS at industry events
• Champion continuous improvement of commercial systems like Salesforce and MyLab
• Partner across SGS business lines to develop integrated client solutions

Requirements

• Scientific university degree in Analytical Chemistry, Geochemistry, or a related field
• Proven experience within a minerals laboratory, geochemistry, or mining services environment
• Expert knowledge of the mining and minerals industry and its commercial drivers
• Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic growth
• Experience in key account management and client engagement
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional language skills in French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian
• Strong commercial acumen and track record of delivering business growth
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills in a global matrixed environment
• Ability to work with Capex models, business cases, and financial forecasts
• Knowledge of MS Project and Oracle applications
