Global Forwarding Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage the full shipment lifecycle for assigned customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ocean operations and international shipping coordination.
• Coordinate tasks to meet customer SOP requirements, including booking approvals, pre-alerts, governmental filings, and delivery execution.
• Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents to resolve problems and ensure excellent service.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely communication and issue resolution.
• Provide reporting, documentation support, and participate in customer business reviews.

Requirements

• High school degree or graduation.
• Minimum 2 years of Ocean export or import operations experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Proven track record of strong, client-focused customer service.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
