About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead category analysis, shopper behavior deep-dives, and trend reporting for a dedicated portfolio of FMCG and CPG partners.
- Interrogate complex datasets, including basket data, search metrics, and conversion rates, to surface high-utility commercial findings.
- Build and deliver compelling insight decks to brand managers, category directors, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Partner with product and data engineering teams to develop and commercialize dashboards and metrics for CPG partners.
- Provide the analytical foundation and predictive metrics required to anchor Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
- Collaborate with global Data & Insight teams across Wolt and DoorDash to align methodologies and share knowledge.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a data-driven insight, analytics, or category management role within the FMCG/CPG sector.
- Exceptional data-led storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex findings into commercial narratives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Exposure to data tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong commercial acumen regarding distribution metrics, rate of sale, market share, and advertising ROI.
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to present to director-level leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail media, e-commerce platforms, or fast-moving marketplace environments.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and advertising incrementality testing.
- Background working within an insight, shopper marketing, or media agency serving CPG clients.
