Global Events Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of Aiven’s global event portfolio, including 3rd party trade shows and 1st party proprietary programs
• Own the "Aiven Experience" for Customer Advisory Boards, User Conferences, Community Roadshows, and Annual Employee Kick-offs
• Develop out-of-the-box concepts to enhance brand presence at industry events
• Manage end-to-end execution for multiple concurrent global events, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Act as a proactive host on the event floor to engage prospects and facilitate introductions to technical and sales teams
• Direct a network of global vendors and boutique agencies to ensure high-quality assets
• Partner with Revenue Marketing and Ops to set performance targets, manage lead capture, and deliver ROI impact reports

Requirements

• 6+ years in tech event management
• Experience running large-scale trade shows and high-touch proprietary events
• Ability to track and report on funnel impact and analyze ROI
• High attention to detail and proficiency with project management tools
• Ability to learn technical product value propositions and speak confidently about them
• Willingness to travel globally (30-40%)
