About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and enhance controls for daily and monthly balance sheet and liquidity processes
- Identify risks early and ensure robust data and reporting accuracy
- Automate manual tasks and implement smarter, more efficient ways of working using tools like Alteryx
- Reconcile trading positions, balances, and valuations with high precision
- Investigate and resolve data mismatches and issues
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulations
- Collaborate with trading, treasury, operations, and finance teams to align goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, STEM, or a related field
- Relevant experience in product control, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role
- Understanding of equities products such as cash equities, equity derivatives, swaps, and financing business
- Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, control enhancement, or automation initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of balance sheet and liquidity concepts
- Progress toward professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA
- Experience supporting audits or regulatory reviews
- Familiarity with process documentation best practices
- Exposure to automation tools beyond Alteryx
