Global Director of Signalling & Telecoms

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the global rail signalling and telecoms strategy
• Oversee global operations performance and support complex projects
• Lead major signalling pursuits including ERTMS and FRMCS
• Strengthen market positioning with key clients and public authorities
• Coordinate global resourcing and expertise across regions
• Promote a culture of collaboration, ethics, and safety
• Manage technical risks, audits, and project recovery task forces

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer/Technician status (e.g., IMechE or IET)
• BSc or equivalent in a Numerate, Scientific, or Engineering subject
• Proven experience leading large teams on major international Rail projects
• Experience leading bids within a consultancy environment
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Right to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant IRSE Licence
• Experience with Mainline and High-speed projects
