About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the global rail signalling and telecoms strategy
- Oversee global operations performance and support complex projects
- Lead major signalling pursuits including ERTMS and FRMCS
- Strengthen market positioning with key clients and public authorities
- Coordinate global resourcing and expertise across regions
- Promote a culture of collaboration, ethics, and safety
- Manage technical risks, audits, and project recovery task forces
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer/Technician status (e.g., IMechE or IET)
- BSc or equivalent in a Numerate, Scientific, or Engineering subject
- Proven experience leading large teams on major international Rail projects
- Experience leading bids within a consultancy environment
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant IRSE Licence
- Experience with Mainline and High-speed projects
