Global Director of Payroll & Benefits

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end global payroll operations for the U.S., U.K., Canada, Switzerland, France, Italy, and St. Bart
• Manage payroll coordination via Rippling and Employer of Record (EOR) partners
• Act as the primary operational liaison for employee benefits, working with brokers and medical providers
• Ensure compliance with global labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory deductions
• Partner with Finance and Accounting on payroll-related reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Oversee retirement and pension contribution accuracy and compliance
• Support compensation planning, including salary bands, merit increases, and bonus programs
• Conduct periodic payroll and benefits audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of global payroll operations and statutory compliance
• Experience managing multi-country payroll with external vendors and EOR partners
• Strong understanding of global benefits administration and broker relationships
• Experience with modern, cloud-based HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred)
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
• High degree of integrity and data privacy awareness
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
