Global Detection and Response Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee global detection and response operations, including continuous monitoring, triage, investigation, containment, and remediation of security events
• Lead, mentor, and manage senior engineering teams across observability, detection and response, and threat intelligence
• Ensure operational rigor through management of incident playbooks, on-call paths, and tabletop exercises
• Improve detection quality by partnering with engineering teams to ensure reliable telemetry across cloud and production environments
• Evaluate and respond to emergent security concerns in a frontier AI lab environment
• Build security programs that leverage AI models to solve frontier security problems

Requirements

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with expertise in detection engineering, incident response, and security operations
• Active U.S. Government security clearance (Top Secret) or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience building and leading detection, observability, and threat intelligence teams globally
• Deep expertise in modern observability stacks including SIEM, data lakes, EDR, and cloud telemetry
• Strong understanding of modern adversary tradecraft (TTPs)
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead incidents under pressure
