Global Data Science Intern

Responsibilities

• Process, clean, and validate data to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis and modeling
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to generate insights and support decision-making
• Formulate hypotheses and apply statistical techniques to validate findings
• Conduct feature engineering and data preparation for predictive and prescriptive modeling
• Develop, evaluate, and iterate on machine learning and advanced AI models
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of data science solutions, including documentation and production deployment
• Apply best practices in version control and technical documentation

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in 5th to 8th semester of a relevant degree (Data Science, Math, Computer Engineering, Physics, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling
• Solid knowledge of SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English for technical and professional communication
• Familiarity with Git and version control tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake or other analytical data warehouses
• Knowledge of web application development (REST APIs, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with simulation techniques (Monte Carlo, discrete-event) or optimization methods
• Familiarity with optimization libraries such as OR-Tools, PuLP, or Gurobi
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Exposure to cloud-based analytical environments (Azure, AWS)
