Global Customs Specialist

Responsibilities

• Validate shipment documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and Arrival Notices to ensure data accuracy.
• Perform high-speed, accurate data entry of shipment details into the KlearNow.AI digital platform.
• Input and verify Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes to ensure consistency with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and flag deficiencies or errors in shipment document packages and proactively resolve issues with customers or partners.
• Compile and analyze shipment data to generate reports and maintain digital records.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to facilitate timely shipment processing.
• Adhere to strict data security policies to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive customer information.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in customs brokerage.
• Familiarity with customs import rules, regulations, and import processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically spreadsheets, and web-based data programs.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts aligned with North American operations, including weekend and holiday coverage as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related customs program.
