Global Credit Intern

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and executing audits across multiple credit risk disciplines, including retail and wholesale portfolios
• Work alongside experienced auditors to perform walkthroughs, control testing, and portfolio reviews
• Analyze credit exposure, migration trends, and risk metrics to identify emerging issues
• Contribute to the evaluation of credit risk rating, monitoring, and provisioning processes
• Prepare clear, well-documented workpapers to support audit conclusions and recommendations
• Research industry, regulatory, and market developments impacting credit risk management
• Attend audit team and stakeholder meetings to observe how findings are communicated to senior leaders

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial statement analysis
• Understanding of credit risk concepts and processes
• Previous experience working within a financial institution
