Global Corporate Travel Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end RFP process and negotiate global commercial agreements with airlines, hotels, and car rental agencies to maximize ROI.
• Manage the relationship with the global Travel Management Company (TMC), ensuring high-quality service delivery and SLA adherence.
• Oversee the optimization of the online booking platform to ensure it is user-friendly and aligned with company policy.
• Design, implement, and evolve a comprehensive global corporate travel policy that balances cost control with employee well-being.
• Analyze travel spend data to identify leakage, produce actionable insights, and conduct quarterly business reviews for leadership.
• Manage travel forecasting, tracking budgets versus actual spend, and maintaining robust traveler safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate travel management, procurement, or a related role within a TMC, airline, or hotel corporate sales environment.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating complex, multi-regional commercial agreements with major global travel suppliers.
• Strong working knowledge of TMC operations, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and corporate online booking tools (e.g., Concur, Navan, CWT).
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and Excel, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic initiatives.
• Experience managing travel programs across multiple global regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing sustainability initiatives, such as carbon tracking and offsetting, within a corporate travel program.
• Professional certification, such as GTP from GBTA.
