Global Corporate Management Accountant

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand financial implications of decisions through ad hoc analysis and performance tracking
• Provide commercial challenge to maximize profit and control costs via budgeting, reforecasting, and ROI analysis
• Manage all financial reporting, including the production and review of profit and loss statements
• Develop and maintain local reporting processes to track key performance indicators and business drivers
• Oversee management accounts, including balance sheet postings, bank reconciliations, and mid-month estimates
• Manage aged debt and ensure invoices are sent out according to agreed timelines
• Maintain a robust framework of financial control covering overhead spend and accrual processes

Requirements

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge existing processes
• Excellent reporting and analysis skills
• Proficiency in Excel and AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to embrace change

Preferred Qualifications

• ACA / CIMA / ACCA part-qualified or relevant equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of management accounts experience in a commercial business
• Experience providing commercial analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations
• Experience within the travel industry is desirable
