Global Commodity Manager - CAPEX Procurement

Responsibilities

• Procure globally required capital goods, focusing on assembly machines and systems
• Develop and implement a global, cross-business unit commodity strategy
• Negotiate and formalize contractual framework agreements for capital goods and services
• Consolidate and coordinate global purchasing volumes
• Act as an escalation level for delivery delays and contractual disruptions
• Coordinate supplier onboarding, maintenance, evaluation, and auditing
• Execute RFQs and manage contract, price, and delivery negotiations
• Participate in value engineering projects and cross-functional project teams

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in CAPEX
• Fluent German and English at negotiation level
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• Strong systems thinking and business acumen
• Willingness to travel
