Global Clinical Head, Respiratory

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior medical scientific expert for respiratory assets, overseeing clinical scientific strategies and benefit/risk assessments.
• Lead the development of clinical components for Target Product Profiles (TPP), Target Product Claims (TPC), and Clinical Development Plans (CDP).
• Accountable for clinical deliverables, including clinical studies and regulatory submission components, ensuring timely execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Therapeutic Area Heads and R&D leaders regarding clinical and scientific product components.
• Provide medical expertise to influence overall project strategy and manage patient risk management plans.
• Lead, coach, and mentor physicians and scientists within the clinical organization.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent medical degree from an accredited university.
• Specialty training in Respiratory or a closely related medical area.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the respiratory space.
• Extensive experience in late-phase clinical drug development.
• Proven track record of managing global regulatory submissions and interacting with major regulatory agencies.
• Demonstrated experience in line management and leading scientific teams.
• Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different geographies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Global external awareness within the respiratory therapeutic area.
• Experience working with Market Companies to deliver large-scale global studies.
• Experience navigating the interface between clinical development and commercial environments.
• Ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
