Global Category Manager - Ingredients

Responsibilities

• Manage up to $150MM in nutritional commodity spend by developing global category strategies
• Optimize raw material sourcing and procurement for multiple global sites
• Negotiate complex supply contracts to secure strategic advantages
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply resilience
• Identify cost savings and avoidance projects using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models
• Facilitate supplier selection through formal RFI/RFP processes and monitor supplier KPIs
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain knowledge of relevant market trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a Technical field
• 4-6 years of experience in operations or supply chain management (including purchasing, planning, or logistics)
• 4-6 years of experience in staff management and development

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification by the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) or APICS
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
• Strong skills in negotiation, strategy development, project management, and financial acumen
