Global Category Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and lifecycle management of Semiconductor Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), tooling, and services on a global scale.
• Manage both global CAPEX and local suppliers within the assigned category.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, R&D, and equipment support teams to drive cost-reduction initiatives and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Lead category meetings across various global manufacturing sites.
• Control supplier performance and compliance through scorecards, corrective actions, and structured business reviews.
• Develop and manage business continuity plans and sourcing strategies.
• Renew existing agreements and initiate new contracts to improve operational efficiency and cost performance.
• Manage ERP tasks, including PO releases and follow-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• Substantial experience in purchasing and supply chain management with a proven track record.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead complex supplier negotiations.
• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX, on a daily basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, MS, or a related advanced degree.
• Proficiency in Hebrew.
