Global Category Director

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end 7-step strategic sourcing process for assigned categories, including spend analysis and market research
• Develop and execute aggressive procurement strategies to drive value across global entities and joint ventures
• Lead high-stakes negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and contract terms
• Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams on cost-improvement projects and business continuity planning
• Manage supplier performance and compliance through structured scorecards and regular business reviews
• Monitor and renew existing agreements while proposing new contracts to improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Proven experience in supply chain and category management
• Technical background with familiarity in Semiconductor Fabrication
• Direct experience working with chemicals and/or bulk and cylinder gases
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex contract terms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX on a daily basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Process Engineering or similar semiconductor fab environments
• Fluency in Hebrew or Japanese
• Understanding of corporate financial analysis
