Global Buyer Brakes

Responsibilities

• Support and deploy the commodity strategy for Brakes across Commuter and Regional platforms
• Manage the global supplier panel, including negotiations, specific agreements, and workload management
• Lead the Request For Quotation (RFQ) process and manage negotiations from RFQ to supplier award and contractualization
• Ensure project execution aligns with QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Technology) objectives
• Coordinate sourcing activities with local teams to ensure contract application and performance reviews
• Represent the commodity to regional bid teams, projects, and platforms

Requirements

• Business school or Engineering degree (a Master's in purchasing is a plus)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing or project management
• Fluent English with experience working in an international environment
• Proven experience in supplier management and contractual negotiations
• Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership, communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders
• Highly organized, rigorous, and structured approach to work
