About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with channel partners, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase partner engagement and sales performance.
- Conduct research to identify market trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the channel.
- Provide ongoing training and support to channel partners to optimize their sales efforts.
- Monitor and report on partner performance metrics to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with partners to drive lead sourcing within assigned customer targets.
- Support the Account Director in navigating internal processes for contract negotiation, legal resources, and pricing.
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple contacts within prospects using a value-based selling approach.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer businesses to identify opportunities for broader strategic offerings.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline by corroborating close dates, forecasted revenue, and revenue timing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of sales and business development experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Telecom industry (Go-to-Market, Wholesale resellers, and Enterprise).
- Experience in solution selling, specifically within CPaaS, CCaaS, UCaaS, or SaaS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce.com.
- Experience selling voice and SMS-related services.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional languages are a distinct advantage.
- Proven ability to use internal lead generation and marketing resources to win accounts.
