Global Account Director

Responsibilities

• Strategically develop and manage multiple global customers to expand business and drive revenue
• Build and maintain relationships within various electrical industry sectors across the globe
• Identify client needs and develop strategies to deliver value and achieve sales goals
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and compile data related to prospect interactions
• Monitor market and competitor activity to provide feedback to the leadership team
• Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
• Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships

Requirements

• Strong technical sales experience, ideally within the Electrical Engineering or Critical Power industry
• Demonstrable ability to manage key accounts and sell technical products
• Ability to read technical drawings and liaise with design and estimating teams
• Proven track record of generating new business and converting leads
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Switchgear is considered an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in related technical fields such as UPS, Generator sales, or the cooling industry
• Experience working with hyperscale clients
