Glass Specialist

Responsibilities

• Operate saws and machine equipment
• Read and understand blueprints, work orders, and schedules
• Perform quality checks on materials
• Translate instructions into computer commands for machine programming
• Use tape measures and perform simple arithmetic with fractions and decimals
• Adhere to site-wide safety protocols and mandatory PPE requirements
• Maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Ability to read a ruler and tape measure
• Basic arithmetic and computer data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of glass handling or processing
• Leadership qualities
