About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of the production line to ensure operational efficiency and safety
- Assist machine operators and production staff to maintain workflow and resolve issues
- Train new and existing operators on equipment, processes, and safety procedures
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, productivity, and labor metrics
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to ensure products meet manufacturing standards
- Maintain equipment knowledge and troubleshoot basic machine issues
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of leadership experience preferred
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Experience with production metrics, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
