GL Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the Fixed Asset (FA) ledger, including master data maintenance, depreciation runs, disposals, and transfers within the ERP system
• Prepare and post GL journals and supporting documentation in accordance with group and local company processes
• Execute month-end and year-end closing tasks accurately and within the established timetable
• Complete group reports before deadlines and prepare local financial reports according to local GAAP
• Perform regular GL account reconciliations to ensure correct and timely bookings and clearings
• Maintain the chart of accounts and create new GL accounts in the ERP system
• Manage monthly journal filing

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, including at least 1 year specifically in General Ledger (GL)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in English
• Advanced MS Office skills, specifically with Excel
• Practical knowledge and experience using SAP
• Valid Certificate of Accountant
• Strong understanding of IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant financial laws and regulations
