GL Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany accounting, including recording transactions, reconciliation, reporting, and settlement of IC positions
• Handle fixed asset activities such as depreciation, activation, retirements, and transfers
• Execute VAT declarations, Intrastat, and SAF files activities
• Perform month-end activities including accruals, journal entries, prepayments, and account revaluations
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Prepare internal and SOX controls and support internal/external audits
• Identify and implement potential process improvements within the Shared Services center

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent accounting course
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting function
• Proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in MS Excel (Power Query is a plus)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with SAP
