GL Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close tasks, including preparing and posting standard journal entries for cash, payroll, and accruals
• Process intercompany transactions and ensure alignment with established elimination rules
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring all items are clearly documented and supported
• Support monthly balance sheet reviews by documenting variances and explaining changes in account balances
• Provide documentation and support for external audits to ensure all deliverables are audit-ready
• Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle GL to identify opportunities for improved visibility and reporting accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience at a global enterprise
• 1-2 years of experience participating in month-end close activities
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP (or comparable systems) and GL close workflows
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written/verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting
• Proficiency in Polish, Swedish, or German
