GIS Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the GIS team in the implementation, operation, and support of enterprise GIS solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to GIS engineers, analysts, developers, and support staff.
• Administer and maintain the ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environment, including ArcGIS Server, Portal, Web Adaptor, and Data Store.
• Manage GIS deployments across multiple servers in development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Manage enterprise geodatabases and ensure GIS data integrity, consistency, and synchronization.
• Support integration between ESRI GIS systems and enterprise platforms such as SCADA and Asset Management systems.
• Implement GIS security best practices, including user roles, permissions, and authentication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of professional GIS experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise in a multi-server environment.
• Proven experience in GIS system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise geodatabases and spatial data management.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure concepts.
• Experience with IIS, Web Adaptors, SSL certificates, and web-based GIS publishing.

Preferred Qualifications

• ESRI technical certifications.
• Experience with ArcGIS Monitor, ArcGIS Image Server, or ArcGIS GeoEvent Server.
• Experience with scripting or automation using JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience in large-scale government, utility, infrastructure, smart city, or transport projects.
