GIS Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Design GIS solutions and architecture
• Manage application development and the system development lifecycle using Agile
• Design ArcGIS Server hardware configurations based on ESRI best practices
• Implement systems integration using various integration patterns
• Work with multi-tiered web driven applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in IT projects in technical roles
• 1+ years of experience in IT Solutions Architecture
• Experience with ESRI's ArcGIS suite and COTS approach
• Solid understanding of spatial data, including ESRI's ArcSDE geodatabase
• Experience with systems integration and enterprise-wide initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the oil and gas industry
• Knowledge of ITIL V3 Framework
• Experience in spatial data analysis, data modeling, and data mapping
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF, PEAF, or Zachman
