GIS Operations Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data analysis and reporting projects to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee the creation of performance dashboards, maps, and statistical models
• Administer and maintain ESRI Enterprise GIS systems, specifically Portal for ArcGIS
• Manage geospatial data workflows, enterprise integrations, and performance tuning
• Conduct quality control and validation of data and analytics products
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify data gaps and develop visualizations
• Present complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support application automation using Python, .NET, or Java

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, GIS, or related field (or Bachelor’s plus 2 additional years of experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data-driven performance reporting and SQL dashboard building
• Minimum 5 years of experience in statistical and geospatial analyses
• Minimum 3 years of experience administering ESRI Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS
• Experience integrating GIS with enterprise IT systems
• Active Top Secret (TS) or DHS SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional ESRI Enterprise Administration Certification
• Proficiency in R and Python
• Familiarity with application customization via .NET, Java, or Python
• Experience in federal, law enforcement, or national security environments
