GIS Implementation Engineer - Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot client issues related to ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise application deployment, system architecture, and REST Services
• Design and deploy ArcGIS cloud-based applications and data management strategies
• Secure and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise REST services through security patches, authentication, and network configurations
• Develop automation tools and custom applications using ArcGIS REST API and Python API
• Manage geospatial data, geodatabases, and metadata within ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro
• Create technical design specifications and support documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, or IT-focused discipline
• 4+ years of geospatial solution engineering experience
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and administrating ArcGIS Enterprise
• Understanding of ArcGIS in an IT context including hardware, storage, security, and networking
• Strong understanding of geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
• Knowledge of cloud computing environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Proficiency with modern web technologies and HTTP methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry-standard IT certificates (Esri, CompTIA, Microsoft, Amazon)
• Experience with Python, Notebooks, and JavaScript
• Experience providing technical support for distributed or disconnected ArcGIS environments
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methods
• Experience with cloud architecture and deployment
