GIS Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of GIS professionals, providing mentorship and direction
• Own enterprise GIS strategy, platform architecture, and ESRI ecosystem
• Lead integration across GIS, EarthSoft EQuIS, modeling, analytics, and field technologies
• Lead reality capture strategy including UAS, LiDAR, and photogrammetry
• Establish data governance standards, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance
• Manage a scalable GIS delivery model and capacity planning
• Serve as a GIS subject matter expert for internal teams and external client pursuits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, GIS, Computer Science, or IT
• 10+ years of progressive GIS experience in consulting or engineering environments
• Strong ESRI experience including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Portal
• Experience with mobile/field workflows and ArcGIS web viewers
• Experience leading GIS services within mid-to-large environmental or engineering firms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
