GIS Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced geospatial analysis utilizing imagery, terrain, feature, and sensor data
• Develop high-quality geospatial products including maps, reports, briefings, and dashboards
• Apply geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) principles to support mission planning and situational awareness
• Perform spatial modeling, geostatistical analysis, and advanced geoprocessing
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy through validation and quality control
• Collaborate with military personnel and technical teams to deliver geospatial solutions
• Lead geospatial projects and provide technical guidance to junior analysts
• Manage geospatial datasets and promote secure data sharing across systems

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, Remote Sensing, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in geospatial analysis and product development
• Expertise with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and QGIS
• Experience supporting Department of Defense or U.S. Air Force programs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Air Force geospatial programs like GeoBase or AFGIMS
• Knowledge of military operations and mission planning workflows
• Experience with GEOINT analysis and intelligence production
• GISP or GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC)
• Experience with enterprise geospatial databases and cloud environments
