GIA IT Audit Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments of business units, processes, and technologies to inform audit planning
• Manage multiple audit and advisory engagements in parallel, leading assigned workstreams with limited supervision
• Execute audit procedures across technology governance, cybersecurity, cloud/hybrid environments, and data governance
• Assess risks and controls related to emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and modern application architectures
• Develop process documentation, control narratives, audit work programs, and testing approaches
• Perform control testing, conduct stakeholder interviews, and document audit results
• Draft clear findings and develop practical, risk-based insights for management
• Utilize data analytics and automation to enhance risk assessment and testing

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, or digital assurance
• Master's degree or equivalent experience with a Bachelor's degree
• CISA certification is required
• Practical exposure to cybersecurity, cloud computing, data protection, and identity and access management
• Experience using data analytics or technology-enabled audit techniques
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CIA, or cloud/security certifications
• Experience in complex environments such as financial institutions, consulting firms, or international organizations
• Knowledge of AI governance, automation, and cyber resilience
