Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the wholesale market team, supporting personal and professional development
• Manage and optimize work processes across various departments
• Ensure business success through the management of key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies
• Act as a strategic partner to the corporate headquarters and coordinate with other METRO markets in the region
• Represent the market at major events and with key customers

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a large organizational unit within the retail/wholesale sector
• Cooperative and motivating leadership style
• Completed commercial training with further qualification as a retail/business specialist or a degree in business administration
• Previous experience as a market manager, facility manager, or branch manager
• Strong customer orientation, specifically for gastronomy and hospitality clients
• Expertise in food handling and an affinity for freshness and culinary topics
• Strong communication skills and ability to build professional networks
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense for trends and innovation
