German Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, dynamic, and engaging in-person German lessons to a young learner (6-year-old boy) in Cologne.
• Develop customized curricula based on the student's beginner proficiency level and specific goals, such as learning slang and social interaction.
• Monitor student progress and use visual aids, such as progress charts, to help the student track achievements.
• Create a structured and confident learning environment using engaging methods like cartoons or games.
• Communicate professionally regarding lesson progress and scheduling.

Requirements

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in German.
• Degree or certificate in language teaching, education, linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in language instruction.
• Ability to provide in-person lessons in Cologne, Germany (near Graeftec).
• Availability for twice-weekly sessions (Tuesday and Friday evenings).
