German Language Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, dynamic, and engaging in-person German lessons to two children (ages 8 and 10) at their home in Hamburg.
• Develop customized curricula based on the students' advanced proficiency levels and specific learning goals.
• Support students with German language homework and bridge linguistic gaps across various school subjects.
• Monitor student progress and guide learners toward achieving their academic and language milestones.
• Maintain professional and effective communication regarding student development.

Requirements

• Written and spoken proficiency in German.
• Degree or certificate in language teaching, education, linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience teaching German.
• Proven experience working with children.
• Ability to travel to the student's location in Hamburg (near 22761) for face-to-face lessons.
• Availability to teach twice per week (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday) after 4 pm.
