German Language Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, dynamic, and engaging in-person German lessons to two children (ages 4 and 6)
• Develop customized curricula based on the students' proficiency levels and goals for bilingual schooling
• Monitor student progress and guide learners toward achieving social and academic language goals
• Communicate professionally with the family regarding lesson outcomes and progress

Requirements

• Written and spoken proficiency in German
• Degree or certificate in language teaching, education, linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
• Ability to provide in-person lessons at the students' home near Hammerbrook (City Süd), Hamburg
• Availability to teach twice per week (45 to 60 minutes per session) between 8am and 4pm
