German Language Professor

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver rigorous German language learning experiences aligned with international academic excellence standards.
• Teach German language classes and ensure the fulfillment of learning objectives and curriculum evaluations.
• Develop didactic materials and assessments focused on competency-based education.
• Lead the Goethe certification processes.
• Provide academic advising to students and support student retention strategies.
• Collaborate with the academic body on interdisciplinary projects and departmental meetings.
• Manage administrative tasks, including group coordination and material review.
• Participate in research, academic production, and national or international educational projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages, German Teaching, Humanities, Communication, International Relations, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum German language proficiency of C1 or native speaker status.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching German (preferably at the high school/Bachillerato level).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field related to the course being taught.
• Experience implementing competency-based teaching strategies.
