About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective instruction and assessment for one elementary German language class for the Fall 2026 semester on campus
  • Foster a learning environment that supports students in achieving their academic goals in alignment with provided syllabi
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, grades, and other required documentation
  • Engage with students consistently in meaningful and constructive ways
  • Demonstrate respectful, ethical, and responsible behavior while abiding by University policies and procedures
  • Foster professional and collaborative interactions with both students and colleagues

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in German (degrees in Humanities or Social Sciences will be considered)
  • Previous teaching experience is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous college-level teaching experience
