About the Company

Nynäshamnsgeriatriken is a small and well-functioning geriatric inpatient ward in Nynäshamn with 22 beds. We work as a cohesive team consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, counselors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, fostering a strong sense of community and continuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide geriatric specialist care for patients from across Stockholm County
• Supervise junior doctors working within the unit
• Collaborate with a team of specialist doctors to support daily operations
• Participate in on-call duties in cooperation with Capio Geriatrik Handen
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the clinical practice
• Maintain patient documentation using the TakeCare electronic health record system

Requirements

• Specialist certification in Geriatrics
• Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills and professional confidence
• Interest in both patient-centered care and clinical development
